bugs of the month: May 2010

There’s plenty of wildlife in my tiny garden. Here’s a small selection of things I noticed while watering the plants this month.

these are regular early morning visitors

$and they won\'t stay still$

this one did

This spider stayed here while the flower lasted....

...and was usually able to enjoy an early morning breakfast

scary spider- fortunately only a millimeter or two long

three-winged fly?

lizard on jack fruit tree

another one limbering up early morning

this ant brought a few million of his friends

another tiny hopper

... and another
